Time For Vinyl

Listening notes

Time For Vinyl, released in 2022 on the TIME (2) label under catalog number 1450 LP, is a vinyl compilation drawing from the electronic and house genres. The release brings together six tracks across two sides, presenting a selection of titled mixes and versions that suggest the compilation was assembled with some attention to curation rather than simply gathering single edits.

Side A opens with "Fever (Alex Party Mix)," a title that names its mix variant explicitly, followed by "In The Music (Original Mix)" and "Angeli Domini (Alma Mater)." Side B carries "I Wanna Mmm... (Successful Mix)," "One More Time (Night Mix)," and closes with "Let's Talk About A Man (Extended Version)." The presence of extended and named mix designations across the tracklist indicates that the compilation leans into remix culture, a common practice within house music releases.

The label designation TIME (2) distinguishes this imprint from other labels sharing the TIME name in catalog databases, a practical detail worth noting for collectors and researchers cross-referencing releases. The catalog number 1450 LP follows a straightforward alphanumeric convention that places it within the label's broader catalog sequence, though the full scope of that catalog is not established here.

No track durations are listed in the available documentation, which limits what can be said about the overall runtime or the relative weight given to any individual track. The format is vinyl, consistent with the release title's own declaration, and the year of issue is confirmed as 2022.
