Time For Vinyl

Listening notes

Released in 2023 on TIME (2) with catalog number 1455 LP, *Time For Vinyl* is a various artists compilation presenting six tracks across two sides, operating within the electronic and house genres.

Side A opens with "Clap On Top Of Me (Attack Mix)," followed by "Stand Up (If You're Ready)" in a Harlem Hustlers Central Park Mix, and closes with "Born Again (Balearic Soul Party Mix)." The Balearic designation in that third title signals at least a nominal gesture toward the looser, sun-warmed edge of house music's broader stylistic range, though the compilation as a whole sits within the electronic and house framework without further genre subdivision provided in the available documentation.

Side B carries "Change (Scream Mix)," "Azzurro (Extended Mix)," and "Let Me Be (Club Mix)." The prevalence of mix subtitles across all six tracks — Attack, Central Park, Balearic Soul Party, Scream, Extended, Club — suggests the compilation assembles reworked versions rather than original studio recordings, though no additional production or remix credits are available to confirm the precise nature of each treatment.

The release's title, *Time For Vinyl*, aligns straightforwardly with the label name TIME (2) and the format itself, positioning the record as a self-aware physical media artifact within a period of sustained renewed interest in the vinyl format. Beyond these structural observations, the documentation does not support claims about personnel, pressing details, or the compilation's reception.
