Time For Vinyl

Listening notes

Time For Vinyl is a various artists compilation released in 2023 on the TIME (2) label, catalogued as 1465 LP. The record spans six tracks across two sides and works within the electronic and house genres.

Side A opens with "Move Your Body (Extended Version)" before moving into "Confusion (Eternal Mix)" and closing with "I Found Luv (Time Mix)." Side B follows with "Coming Back (Club Mix)," then "If You Buy This Record (Your Life Will Be Better) (Original Mix)," and concludes with "Emergency 911 (Original Version)." The track sequencing suggests a curator's attention to mixing formats, with extended, club, and original versions represented across the program.

One title on the B side stands out on paper: "If You Buy This Record (Your Life Will Be Better)" is a track title long associated with a certain strain of self-aware house music, and its inclusion here under an original mix designation may interest collectors already familiar with that corner of the genre. Whether that familiarity extends to the other titles on this release is a question the available information does not answer.

What the record does confirm is its positioning as a house and electronic anthology issued on vinyl in 2023, a period when new vinyl pressings of genre material continued to find a market. The TIME (2) label's catalog number places this release within an identifiable sequence, which may assist collectors cross-referencing the label's broader output.

Track durations are not listed in the available data, so the total runtime of the record remains unconfirmed. Prospective buyers seeking that information, or details on individual track artists, should consult additional sources before drawing conclusions about the release.
