Various
Turntables On The Hudson (Compilation Vol. 3 / Vinyl 2)

Listening notes

Released in 2001 on the RhythmLove label, catalog number RL 2006, this release is the second vinyl in the third volume of the Turntables On The Hudson compilation series. It is a various artists record spanning the genres of downtempo, dub, and electronic music.

As Vinyl 2 of Compilation Vol. 3, this pressing occupies sides C and D of what is part of a broader multi-disc set. Side C opens with "Brooklyn Ole," followed by an alternate version, "Brooklyn Ole (Sofiabella Mix)." Side D carries "Resolutions" and closes with "Short Back & Sides." Track durations are not documented in available sources.

The Turntables On The Hudson series takes its name from a series of outdoor music events held in New York City, though details about the specific contributors to this volume and pressing are not confirmed in the verified information available for this entry. Collectors and researchers seeking personnel or production credits should consult the physical release directly, as that information falls outside what can be responsibly stated here.

The RhythmLove label served as the imprint for this release, and the catalog number RL 2006 places it within the label's documented output for that year. The presence of a named remix — the Sofiabella Mix of "Brooklyn Ole" — suggests at least some degree of production variation was built into the program of this side, though nothing further about the remix's origins can be confirmed from the available facts.

This draft has not been reviewed for accuracy and should be verified against the physical release and additional documentation before publication.
