Untidy Vinyl Club EP 1

Listening notes

Untidy Trax issued this three-track vinyl EP in 2025 under the catalog number UTVCEP1. The release carries the title Untidy Vinyl Club EP 1, positioning it as the opening entry in what the naming convention suggests is an ongoing club-focused series from the label.

The record is a Various Artists compilation spread across two sides. The A-side carries a single track, "Big Zepper," while the B-side holds two: "Reverse Cowbell" and "Broken Heart." No individual artist credits or track durations are confirmed in the available data.

Untidy Trax is the label behind the release, and the genres on record are Electronic, Hard House, and House — a combination consistent with the label's longstanding association with the harder end of the UK dance music spectrum. Hard House, a subgenre that emerged from British club culture in the 1990s, sits at the center of that designation, with the broader House and Electronic tags providing additional context for how the release has been categorized.

Beyond what the release data confirms — label, catalog number, format, year, title, side assignments, and genre tags — no further verified information is available at this stage. Track durations are not listed, personnel are unconfirmed, and no supplementary documentation has been reviewed. A fact checker should verify individual artist credits for each track, confirm whether additional pressings or variants exist under this catalog number, and establish whether the series has continued beyond this first installment.

This is an unreviewed draft. All claims should be checked against primary sources before publication.
