Various
Value On Vinyl EP

Listening notes

Released in 2008 on Trippin Records, the Value On Vinyl EP carries catalog number TRP-005 and arrives as a various artists release spanning four tracks across two sides of a single record. The release sits within the deep house, electronic, and house genres.

Side A is devoted entirely to "Smile And Be," presenting it in two distinct forms. The first is credited as Ric's Original, followed by a remix from Abicah Soul Dancers. Side B follows the same structural logic with "Heavy," leading with Tyrone's Original before closing out with an Abicah Soul Remix. The format gives each track its own designated position — A1, A2, B1, and B2 — with no listed durations for any of the four.

The consistent presence of Abicah Soul across both sides is the most notable thread connecting the release. Appearing as Abicah Soul Dancers on the A-side remix and simply as Abicah Soul on the B-side remix, the project takes on something of a curated character, with one remixer anchoring the second half of each side while the originals are attributed to different hands.

As the fifth catalog entry from Trippin Records, TRP-005 fits within a numbered series, though no additional information about the label's broader output or geographic base is available from the confirmed details alone.

Duration data is absent for all four tracks, and no further personnel credits, publishing information, or matrix details are available within the verified record. What the release documents clearly is a two-track, four-version structure organized around originals and remixes, issued on vinyl in a genre space where that format has long held practical and cultural weight.
