Vinyl Extraction - Live At Robert Johnson Volume 7

Listening notes

Released in 2011 on the Live At Robert Johnson label, *Vinyl Extraction - Live At Robert Johnson Volume 7* carries the catalog number playrjc 011 and was issued on vinyl. It is the seventh installment in the label's ongoing compilation series.

The record presents three tracks across two sides. The first side opens with "Raum (Ata's Extended Mix)," identified by its position as the primary offering on that side. The second side carries two tracks: "Flucht" followed by "Raum (Original)," suggesting that "Raum" appears in two distinct versions across the release — an extended mix credited to Ata on the first side and an original version closing the second.

The genres associated with the release span a notably broad range, encompassing electro, electronic, new wave, post-punk, and rock. This combination points toward material that sits at intersections between club-oriented electronic music and earlier guitar- and synth-driven forms, though the specifics of how those elements are realized on these particular tracks are not documented here.

Live At Robert Johnson is the label connected to the Frankfurt club of the same name, a venue with a particular identity within European electronic music culture. Volume 7 in this series reflects the label's continued output under this compilation format, though details about the contributing artists, recording circumstances, and production context for this specific volume are not confirmed in the available information.

No duration data is available for any of the three tracks. Readers seeking personnel credits, pressing details, or additional context beyond what is stated here should consult primary sources before treating this entry as complete.
