Vinyl Is Better 7

Listening notes

Vinyl Is Better 7 is a various artists compilation released by Kniteforce Records in 2019 under catalog number KFCD23. Despite its title, the release appeared in CD format, a detail that will not be lost on collectors browsing the label's catalog.

Kniteforce Records is a UK-based label with a long association with the harder end of UK electronic music, and this seventh installment in the Vinyl Is Better series reflects that alignment. The compilation draws from genres including breakbeat, electronic, happy hardcore, hardcore, and jungle, placing it squarely within a lineage of UK rave-adjacent sounds that the label has consistently championed.

The twelve-track program opens with "Heatwave" and moves through titles including "My Sunshine," "Paradise," "Everybody's Rave," and "Walk Like A Champion" before reaching "Never Be Mine," "Wine Or Honey," and the Spanish-language titled "Hazme Sonar." The sequence continues with "Your Own World," "Logorrhea," "The Descent (In Your Arms)," and closes on "Dont Let Him Out." Track durations are not documented in the available data.

As the seventh volume in its series, this release represents a sustained curatorial effort by Kniteforce to compile material across its associated genres. The series title itself carries an implied commentary on format preference, though the choice of CD as the delivery medium here is an apparent tension the label has presumably addressed in its own context.

Individual track credits and artist attributions are not available in the verified source data and should be confirmed before publication. Collectors and researchers interested in the broader Vinyl Is Better series may find catalog number KFCD23 a useful reference point when tracing the label's output during this period.
