Vinyl Joose EP

Listening notes

The Vinyl Joose EP, released in 2021 on 2tuf 4u Records under catalog number 2T4U-VJOOSV1, is a various artists collection operating within the electronic and UK garage genres. The record presents five tracks spread across two sides, with the A-side carrying two cuts and the B-side accommodating three.

Side A opens with "All London," running at six minutes and ten seconds, followed by "Got Me" at five minutes and twelve seconds. The B-side opens with "Over U (93 Acetate)" at four minutes and thirty seconds, then "Bass In The Rhythm" at four minutes and fifty-five seconds, closing with "4U" at four minutes and fifty-two seconds. The total runtime across all five tracks amounts to just over twenty-five and a half minutes.

A few details on the tracklist are worth noting for the fact checker. The parenthetical designation "(93 Acetate)" in the title "Over U (93 Acetate)" likely carries meaning in the context of UK garage's relationship to early-to-mid nineties sounds and the acetate disc format historically associated with promotional and DJ-focused pressings, though the precise significance of this label as used here should be verified independently. Similarly, the label name 2tuf 4u Records and the catalog number's embedded abbreviations suggest deliberate stylistic choices consistent with conventions common in electronic and garage music culture, though any specific claims about the label's background or history would need separate sourcing.

The EP's genre framing places it within a tradition of vinyl-format electronic and UK garage releases, a format that has maintained active use in these scenes. Beyond the tracklist, runtime, label, and year of release, additional context regarding personnel, pressing details, or the circumstances of the release's production is not available from the verified information provided and should not be assumed.
