Vinyl Loops Vol. 4

Listening notes

Dance All Day's Vinyl Loops series reached its fourth installment in 2001 with DADVL004, a three-track release that draws from several corners of the electronic music landscape. The record carries genres spanning breakbeat, electronic, house, and trance, suggesting a compilation assembled with some breadth in mind rather than strict stylistic unity.

The A-side is given entirely to "Want Love (Original Mix)," running six minutes and twenty-seven seconds. The designation "Original Mix" implies the track existed in or was planned for alternate versions, though no further release information is available here to confirm that. The B-side splits across two tracks: "Wonderer (Original Mix)" at six minutes and seven seconds occupies the first position, followed by "Let Me Be Your Fantasy (Original Edit)" at four minutes and twenty-four seconds. The "Original Edit" label on the closing track distinguishes it from the other two, hinting at a shorter or restructured version of a longer piece, though again the surrounding context for that remains outside what can be confirmed from the available information.

No artist credits for individual tracks are documented in the available data, which is not unusual for various-artist club releases of this period, where anonymous or alias-heavy credits were common practice. Whether that applies here is not something that can be stated with certainty.

The release sits within the Vinyl Loops series by name, and DADVL004 confirms it as the fourth entry under that banner on the Dance All Day label. Beyond what the catalog number, tracklist, and genre tags directly convey, the record's history, personnel, and place within the wider catalog of the label remain outside the scope of what the verified facts can support.
