Vinyl Moon Volume 025: The Space Between

Listening notes

Vinyl Moon Volume 025, subtitled The Space Between, was released in 2017 on the Vinyl Moon label. It is the twenty-fifth installment in Vinyl Moon's ongoing vinyl subscription series, which presents curated collections of contemporary artists across a range of styles. This volume draws from genres including alternative rock, ambient, electronic, and rock.

The record carries ten tracks divided evenly across two sides. Side A opens with "No One Has To Know" and continues through "Everything (Deathless) (Original Version)," "Cold," "Stimuli," and "Dipped." The parenthetical in the second track's title indicates this is identified as an original version, though no further context is available from the verified data. Side B moves through "Alibi," "Second Chance," "Palms Motel," "Wavess," and closes with "Gone Away." Track durations are not available in the verified data.

As a various-artists compilation, the release reflects Vinyl Moon's established approach of gathering work from multiple contributors rather than focusing on a single act. The catalog designation Volume 025 places this record squarely within a numbered sequence, situating it as part of a larger serialized project rather than a standalone release. The breadth of listed genres — spanning ambient textures on one end and rock-oriented material on the other — suggests an intention to present varied listening across the two sides, though no documentation of curatorial intent has been verified here.

Artist credits, track-by-track personnel, pressing details, and any associated artwork descriptions are not available in the verified data and have been omitted accordingly. Researchers seeking full contributor information should consult the original release materials or the Vinyl Moon label directly.
