Listening notes

Vinyl Moon Volume 061, subtitled Before You Melt, is a various artists compilation released in 2020 on the Vinyl Moon label. It carries the catalog designation Volume 061, situating it as part of an ongoing numbered series from the imprint. The release is formatted as a vinyl record and is categorized under the electro and electronic genres.

The compilation is spread across two sides, each containing five tracks. Side A opens with "Low Angles" and continues through "LYFE," "Routine," "New Horizons," and "Dream Spectrum." Side B follows with "In The City," "Melt," "September In London," "Fantasia," and "Twenty." The title of the compilation, Before You Melt, shares its name with the Side B track "Melt," though no information is available here regarding any intentional thematic connection between the two.

Vinyl Moon operates as a subscription-oriented label built around the concept of releasing curated vinyl compilations on a rolling basis, and Volume 061 represents one installment in that sequence. Beyond the genre classifications of electro and electronic, no additional information about the individual contributing artists, track durations, or production details is available from the verified facts provided.

The tracklist itself, with titles such as "Dream Spectrum," "New Horizons," and "September In London," suggests a range of moods and settings across its ten selections, though any characterization of the music beyond what the titles and genre tags indicate would move outside the scope of confirmed information.
