Vinyl Moon Volume 068: Our Glassy Eyes

Listening notes

Vinyl Moon Volume 068: Our Glassy Eyes is a compilation release issued by Vinyl Moon in 2021. The record carries the catalog designation Volume 068, situating it within the label's ongoing numbered series of curated vinyl releases. The genres associated with the compilation span electronic, indie pop, and pop, reflecting the kind of cross-genre programming that defines the compilation format.

The record contains ten tracks spread across two sides. Side A opens with "Blossoms" and continues through "Off-Peak," "Velvia," "Wide Awake," and "Guitar + Peaches (Demo)," the last of which is notable for being presented in demo form rather than as a finished studio recording. Side B begins with an edited version of "Journey," followed by "Hourglass," "Violet," "Tru," and "Ferrovia." The presence of both a demo and an edited version among the ten selections suggests the compilation was assembled with some attention to offering variants alongside standard tracks, though the reasoning behind those specific choices is not documented here.

As is standard for Vinyl Moon releases, the compilation is issued on vinyl. The label has operated as a subscription-based service delivering curated records to members, and Volume 068 falls within that model. No additional personnel, pressing details, or running time information is available in the verified data for this entry.

The title Our Glassy Eyes does not have a documented explanation in the available facts, and no chart performance, critical reception, or artist attribution for individual tracks is confirmed here. Prospective buyers and researchers should consult primary sources for further detail before treating this entry as complete.
