Vinyl Only Edits 3

Listening notes

BPitch Control released Vinyl Only Edits 3 in 2014 under catalog number BPC 298. The release is the third entry in the label's Vinyl Only Edits series and arrives on vinyl format, sitting within the electronic and tech house genres.

The four-track release spreads across two sides. The A-side opens with "Before The Sunrise (Kiki Raw House Dub)" followed by "Mindless (Vinyl Techno Rmx)." The B-side carries "Walk With It (Extended Version)" and closes with "Tearing Me Away (Vinyl Rework)." The track titles themselves signal the intentions of the release: these are reworked and extended versions of existing material, with the word "vinyl" appearing in two of the four titles, pointing toward versions prepared or tailored specifically for this format. The extended and dub designations suggest these cuts differ in some structural way from any prior versions, though the nature and extent of those differences are not detailed in the available information.

BPitch Control, the Berlin-based electronic music label, had by 2014 established a catalog spanning a range of electronic subgenres. The Vinyl Only Edits series, as the name indicates, presents material exclusive to the vinyl format, which aligns with a broader practice in the electronic music world of releasing DJ-focused edits and alternative versions through physical twelve-inch records. No individual artist credits are listed in the available data, and the release is cataloged under a Various Artists designation.

Track durations are not listed in the available information, and no additional personnel or production credits are confirmed at this time. This draft should be reviewed against the original release for any missing contributor information before publication.
