Vinyl Sur Donation 01

Listening notes

Vinyl Sur Donation 01 is a various artists release issued in 2010 on the Vinyl Sur Donation label under catalog number VSD 01. The record is a vinyl format release catalogued under the electronic and freetekno genres.

The release contains three tracks spread across two sides. The A side opens with "Zone X Fusion" followed by "Bazaracid (Extrait Live)," the latter title suggesting a live excerpt, as the parenthetical "Extrait Live" indicates. The B side is given over entirely to a single track, "Ed Clock (Les Noeuds De La Conscience)."

The freetekno genre, under which this release is catalogued alongside the broader electronic category, is associated with a DIY and non-commercial tradition that emerged from free party culture in Europe. The label name, Vinyl Sur Donation, is consistent with that tradition, as donation-based distribution models have been a feature of freetekno and associated underground scenes. Whether this label operated strictly on a donation basis cannot be confirmed from the available information, but the name itself reflects that cultural framing.

VSD 01 as a catalog designation positions this record as the inaugural release on the Vinyl Sur Donation label, at least within its official cataloguing sequence. No additional releases on the label are referenced here, and no further detail about the label's output or history can be confirmed from the facts provided.

Track durations are not listed for any of the three tracks, and no personnel, production credits, or pressing details are available in the source material.
