Vinylbleu 10

Listening notes

Released in 2022 on VinylBleu.fr, Vinylbleu 10 (catalog number VB10) is a four-track various artists vinyl record operating within the electronic music space. The release spans the genres of electronic, freetekno, hard techno, and techno, placing it within a corner of the vinyl market that caters to listeners and collectors invested in the harder, more industrial edges of the broader techno tradition.

The record follows a standard two-sided format. Side A opens with "The Czech Wanderer" and continues with "Blue Attack." Side B carries "La Gnole" and closes with "Bend Her." Track durations are not listed.

VinylBleu.fr, as the releasing label, situates this record within what appears to be an ongoing numbered series — the catalog number VB10 and the title Vinylbleu 10 both suggesting this is the tenth installment in that sequence. Beyond what the catalog information itself indicates, no additional details about the label's history, distribution, or scope are confirmed here.

Freetekno as a genre carries associations with underground sound system culture and a general resistance to commercial music infrastructure, and its inclusion alongside hard techno and techno in this release's genre tags hints at the aesthetic territory the record inhabits. However, no specific claims about the artists involved, the recording context, or how the release was received are available from the verified facts on hand.

For collectors, the basic reference points are clear: a 2022 various artists vinyl release, four tracks across two sides, on a French label with an identifiable numbered series. Those details are confirmed. Everything else awaits further documentation.
