Vinylcuts:2

Listening notes

Soul Heaven Records released Vinylcuts:2 in 2010 under catalog number SHR033, a vinyl release that brings together three tracks spanning the deep house, garage house, and broader house and electronic genres. The compilation format positions it as part of what the label's series title implies is an ongoing curatorial project, with this volume designated as the second installment.

The release carries three tracks across two sides. The A-side presents a single entry, "A Little More Love (Main Vocal Mix)," while the B-side holds two tracks: "I Owe You (Original Mix)" and "Gotta Keep Movin' (Main Mix)." The naming conventions across the tracklist are worth noting for collectors and cataloguers. Each title carries a mix descriptor in parentheses, a standard practice in house music releases that signals the existence of alternate versions, though no additional versions are confirmed within this release itself. The "Main Vocal Mix" designation on the opening track suggests a vocal-forward arrangement, and the "Original Mix" credit on the first B-side cut distinguishes it from potential edits or remixes elsewhere in the wider catalog.

As a Various Artists compilation, Vinylcuts:2 fits within a tradition of house music labels issuing curated multi-artist vinyl packages designed to represent a label's aesthetic range at a given moment. Soul Heaven Records, operating within the deep and garage house space, uses this series format to bring together material under a unified release identity rather than a single-artist context.

No track durations are available in the confirmed metadata. This draft should be reviewed against label documentation, credited artist information, and any supplementary liner notes before publication.
