VINYLITACH01

Listening notes

Released in 2015, VINYLITACH01 is a five-track vinyl compilation issued without formal label affiliation, appearing under the designation "Not On Label." The catalog number, VINYLITACH01, serves as both identifier and title, a practical naming convention sometimes associated with self-released or privately distributed projects operating outside conventional industry infrastructure.

The release spans three listed genres — Ambient, Electronic, and Funk / Soul — suggesting a compilation drawing from more than one stylistic tradition. Whether those genres reflect the range of contributors, the intentions of a single organizing entity, or some combination of the two is not established by the available information.

The record is divided across two sides. Side A carries two tracks: "Mademoiselle" and "Night Trouble." Side B holds three: "Street Confusion," "For Real," and "Sensation." No track durations are documented, and no artist credits are attached to individual selections in the verified data. The release is credited to Various Artists, which indicates multiple contributors, though their identities are not confirmed here.

The "Not On Label" designation is a recognized category within vinyl documentation, typically applied to releases that bypass established distribution channels and lack an official imprint. This can reflect a range of circumstances, from artist-led limited pressings to promotional or private use releases. No information is available to clarify which applies in this case.

Beyond what the catalog entry establishes — format, year, genre tags, side assignments, and track titles — the circumstances of this release remain undocumented in the verified record. A fact checker should confirm artist credits, track durations, pressing details, and any contextual history before this draft is published.
