Vinylized Vol.8

Listening notes

Vinylized Vol. 8 is the eighth entry in the Vinylized compilation series, released in 2019 on 4mg Records under catalog number 4MGLP15. Issued on vinyl, the release brings together eleven tracks spread across two sides, drawing from electronic, hip hop, house, and techno genres.

Side A opens with "Reactivate" at 3:56 and moves through "Kto? (DNCL Loom Radio Edit)" and "Agonia-Phobia (Remix)," the latter two running nearly identical lengths of 3:54 each. "Démon (Raw Vinyl Mix)" follows at 3:43, and the side closes with the Slovak-language title "Krátky Ťažko Uveriteľný Príbeh" at 3:57. The mix of remixed and edited versions alongside what appears to be original material reflects the compilation's varied approach to sourcing content, though no further detail on contributors or recording origins is documented here.

Side B carries six tracks and runs somewhat shorter on individual cuts. "The Fate Of Man" is the longest track on the release at 4:26, followed by "Lieky" at 2:54. "Veža" is the briefest entry on the record at 1:59. "Vedic Meter (Védske Metrum)" returns to a longer format at 3:59, while "Aspoň Gram" and "Nattatasaratata" close the side at 2:57 and 2:47 respectively. Several track titles appear in Slovak, suggesting at least a partial regional identity to the compilation's programming.

The tracklist's subtitle variants — including a raw vinyl mix and a loom radio edit — indicate that this volume, like others in the series, functions in part as a curated selection of alternate versions alongside other material. Beyond catalog information, no additional documentation regarding personnel, pressing details, or distribution is available for this entry at this time.
