VinylAddicted
Love Edits Vol 1

Listening notes

Released in 2016 on the WYMM label, Love Edits Vol 1 (catalog number WYMM1) is a two-sided vinyl single from VinylAddicted. The release sits across a range of genres including Boogie, Disco, Electronic, Funk / Soul, and Nu-Disco, reflecting the edit culture that has maintained a presence in DJ-oriented vinyl releases during the digital era.

The A-side presents "Give Me Your Love (More Active Than Ever) (VA Edit)," running at 7:15 — a length consistent with floor-focused edit work, where extended runtimes are a practical consideration for DJs. The B-side offers "Hurry Back (VA Edit)," clocking in at 5:50. Both tracks are identified as edits by VinylAddicted, as indicated by the "VA Edit" designation in each title.

The release comes under the WYMM label, catalogued as WYMM1, suggesting this was an early or inaugural release within that label's catalog. The choice to issue the material on vinyl places it within a broader practice of edit releases that have appeared on physical formats alongside or instead of digital distribution, though the specifics of this release's distribution are not confirmed here.

Love Edits Vol 1 is a straightforward document of edit-focused production work, presenting two reworked tracks across its two sides. Readers seeking additional detail on personnel, original source material, or pressing specifics should verify those points independently, as they fall outside the confirmed information for this release.
