WestBam
Right On (Battle Vinyl Dubplate Mixes)

Listening notes

Released in 2002 on Low Spirit Recordings, WestBam's *Right On (Battle Vinyl Dubplate Mixes)* is a multi-sided vinyl release catalogued under 74321 95759 1. Spanning six sides across what the format and tracklist structure suggest is a multi-disc set, the release presents twelve tracks grouped across positions A through F, placing it firmly in the genres of Electro, Electronic, House, and Progressive House.

The tracklist moves through a range of running times, from the brief "Oldschool, Baby" at one minute and thirty-two seconds and "Air Max (Drumappella)" at one minute and twenty-five seconds, to longer selections such as "Coras Corner" at six minutes and thirty-eight seconds and "The Disco In My Head" at six minutes and seven seconds. The title track "Right On" opens the A-side at three minutes and fifty-two seconds, while Side D is occupied entirely by "Right On Loops," listed without a specified duration. The placement of loops material on a dedicated side is consistent with the release's framing as battle vinyl and dubplate mixes, formats historically associated with DJ tool use, though no additional context for this release's specific intent is available from the verified data.

The catalog number, label, and year of issue are the fixed reference points collectors and researchers will find useful here. Low Spirit Recordings was a Berlin-based imprint with documented ties to WestBam, though specifics of that relationship beyond this release are outside the scope of what the available facts confirm.
