Wickedsquad
Wicked Vinyl 10

Listening notes

Wickedsquad's Wicked Vinyl 10 arrived in 2012 as a self-released vinyl record, issued without the backing of a commercial label under the straightforward catalog designation WICKED VINYL 10. The release sits within the genres of Drum n Bass, Dub, and Electronic, a combination that positions it among the independently produced records circulating in those overlapping scenes during that period.

The record is structured across two sides. The A-side carries two separate versions of "Shut Em Down," both listed without durations in available documentation. Whether these represent distinct mixes, edits, or pressings of the same material is not specified in the available data. The B-side moves between two individual titles: "Peace A Dat" occupying the B1 position, followed by "Ultimate Dubplate" closing the record at B2. Again, no track durations are documented.

The choice to release through a not-on-label arrangement is a common path for artists operating within underground electronic music communities, allowing direct control over production and distribution without the infrastructure of a formal imprint. The catalog number itself mirrors the title, suggesting this was part of a sequenced series of releases under the Wicked Vinyl name, with this entry being the tenth in that sequence — though the full scope and history of that series is not confirmed here and would require further verification.

No additional personnel, recording locations, pressing details, or edition information are present in the available record for this release. Prospective fact checkers should note that track durations, pressing quantities, and any associated credits remain unverified and should be sourced independently before publication.
