Listening notes

Alexis Korner’s Get Off Of My Cloud is a 1975 vinyl release on CBS, catalog number CBS 69155. Filed under Blues, Blues Rock, and Electric Blues, it presents a concise ten-track program split across two sides, with most selections running three minutes or less and a single longer piece closing the set.

Side A opens with I Got Cha Number (2:44) and The Wasp (2:45), then stretches slightly with Robert Johnson (4:05) before returning to tighter timings on Tree Top Fever (2:54) and You Are My Sunshine (3:54). The title track, Get Off Of My Cloud, closes the album at 5:27, making it the longest entry here by a clear margin. The placement puts the emphasis on the namesake track as the final statement of the set.
