Listening notes

Jess Moskaluke's *the vinyl* was released in 2020 on MDM Recordings Inc. under catalog number MDM 212. The release is classified under the country and folk, world, and country genres, and arrives in standard vinyl format.

The record is a ten-track collection spread evenly across two sides. Side A opens with "Country Girls" and continues through "Kiss Me Quiet," "Cheap Wine And Cigarettes," "Drive Me Away," and "Speed Of Night." Side B carries five additional tracks: "Take Me Home," "Halfway Home," "Save Some Of That Whiskey," "Elevator," and "Good For You." Track durations are not documented in the available data.

As a physical release, *the vinyl* represents a deliberate format choice at a time when vinyl was experiencing a broad commercial resurgence, though no specific context for this particular release's origins or intentions has been verified here. The title itself foregrounds the format, which is at minimum a noteworthy editorial decision worth noting for collectors approaching this record.

MDM Recordings Inc. is the issuing label, and the catalog number MDM 212 places this release within that label's documented output. Beyond these identifiers, no additional pressing information — including country of manufacture, color variants, or matrix details — is confirmed in the available data and should not be assumed.

Collectors and researchers seeking further documentation on this release, including personnel credits, session background, or edition specifics, are encouraged to verify against primary sources.
